Influences

Greetings everyone no new models this time around instead I have been asked by my EPQ teacher to explain a bit about my Influences and what has Influenced me to want to create 3D models and what I try and base mine off, I did cover this kind of before I even started creating 3D models right In my very first post but I didn't go into to much detail so now's the chance to expand on it a bit, oh and before I forget I have been meaning to mention someone in these posts for awhile now but have totally forgot my friend Calvin reads my posts and he is in my games development class in college and I said I will have a little shout out to him in blog so here it is....

"HAPPY NOW CALVIN YOUR NAME IS UP IN LIGHTS !!!!!!"

Now then onto these influences...

I guess I was influenced heavily by what I played as a child back in the day "Wayyyyyy back in the day", I still remember getting my Ps1 christmas morning many many years ago and I just played the hell out of it, it just amazed me as child it was like movies that you could play in and change depending on what you did and as a child this just blew me away amazing games like....

Not gonna post every game I played when I was younger but you get the idea all amazing games :D

I have always played games for as long as I can remember but I never always wanted to go on further in games at first I decided it was a dream job maybe I would get there maybe not so I wanted to get a "Real" job boy was I an Idiot xD then I started playing more impressive games when I first got my Ps3 and I was blown away I was like this is what I want to, I want to make games because it would just be amazing!

In terms of wanting to become an Animator/3D Artist I only really decided on that when I got Kingdom hearts 2 and watched the opening video it was so well done, I wanted to do that as well. :)

I remember cracking that game open for the first time and watching that opening and just being blown away by it, the quality at the time this was made was amazing it was perfect  and it was just what I wanted to do, as I played more games I saw more amazing feats of modelling and animating and I was just blown away by what I saw it was all amazing, and of course this is why I took the EPQ I want to become a 3D artist and go to University to study it but before that I need a bit of background in it, and I was going to teach myself it before University but the EPQ gave me that little push to do it sooner.

Till next time.

NOTE: CALVIN IS A WONDERFUL PERSON AND HE DID NOT BEG TO BE INCLUDED IN THIS POST <3

  1. Congratulations for making me sound like a whiny attention whore who only wanted his name mentioned, instead of mentioning all the things that I actually did for you related to the blog.

...And I still have Tekken 3 sat on my shelf. ;P
